Areca Raid

Areca has provided a set of universal drivers that support both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. Areca RAID storage X86 default driver has been moved to / System / Library / Extensions/ from macOS 11 for supporting Intel based Mac to boot from its volume. Areca universal drivers is no longer included in macOS Big Sur, which means you need to download the M1 driver from Areca website link and install Areca KEXTs manually. Please note that the latest Killer Device drivers for the Wireless AC1550, Wireless AX1650, and Ethernet E3100 are all included in our current Software Package.

For other Killer devices, the device drivers that are installed by default in Windows and provided by Windows Update are sufficient for most users. If you need specific updates or drivers for these devices, please refer to your Computer Manufacturers download page.
